Board of Mayors
The board of mayors of eleven villages meet each other twice a year and discuss what they will do together. The board exists of mayors or representatives of the Culktural Villages of Europe.
The meetings take place in the functioning Cultural Village orf Europe of that year.

International Coordination of the Cultural Villages is done by Wijk aan Zee.

The way how things are organize in the villages are different. On some places the local Council organizes activities of the Cultural Village.
In Aldeburgh is a special Committee
In Paxos is a Cultural Society
In Kilingi-Nõmmee the Development and innovation centre Livonia
In Stroebeck it is the local council
In Hungary it is the local Council
In Porrua the Cultural Society "Llacin"
In Tommerup is the Local Council

Purpose / Oobjectives
The aim is to be vital villages in a urban world. Villages that are conscious of their forces and incapabilities, aware of what is lacking in nowadays culture and able to add it. Looking for recognition by central institutions and public opinion and stimulating other small communities to take their places and to use their opportunities and treated in the spirit of the Charter of the Villages of 1999.
The purpose are Vital villages: A society with a floroiushing Village Culture next to Urban culture.
